Walnuts & Sunshine
I've come up with a plan to deal with the allergies & eczema I've got at the moment. Rather than going for more drugs, I'm going with Walnuts and Sunshine. Yes, some might call me crazy (ok, probably almost all), however there is some logical reasoning behind this hair brain plan.
Walnuts are extremely high in Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, which are especially beneficial to skin function and condition. Exposure to UVA and UVB have been shown as good for controlling and healing eczema; personal experience supports this also, when I'm in very sunny climates I don't get allergies/eczema. Too much UV of course is bad, however according to dermatologists with the fear of cancer most people now don't get enough. We need at least 10min of good quality sunlight on our skin per day to generate enough vitamin D (important for bone strength) and to maintain a healthy immune system.
Sunlight is also free, and free dollars is a good price right now, lol.
